As an author, Ruth has written several impactful children’s books and creative works, including Hyper Kid, So They Say!, Soup Joumou: A Freedom Celebration, Self-Love with Positivity, and the Moving Rio coloring series. Her writing reflects her deep belief that stories shape identity, confidence, and possibility - especially in the earliest years of life.

In addition to her publishing work, Ruth is a sought-after speaker and consultant for schools, conferences, nonprofits, corporations, and community organizations. Her speaking and training topics include early childhood literacy and education, inclusive storytelling, self-publishing and creative entrepreneurship, leadership development, and communication. Whether addressing educators, aspiring authors, or executive teams, Ruth is known for her engaging presence, clarity of thought, and ability to connect vision to real-world impact.

Since 2020, Ruth has worked as an Early Childhood Consultant, partnering with schools and organizations to strengthen teaching practices, support diverse learning styles, and build inclusive literacy programs. She previously served as Early Childhood Director at Scholars of Tomorrow Brooklyn Preschool, where she led teacher mentorship, curriculum development, and instructional strategy.

Ruth holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Brooklyn College and a Master of Science in Education in Counselor Education/School Counseling from Alfred University. She is also a freelance writer for Crown Heights Community News and a passionate advocate for equity in education and representation in children’s literature.

Above all, Ruth’s work is grounded in humanity and connection. As a proud mother of five, she brings warmth, resilience, and authenticity to everything she does - demonstrating how powerful stories, strong leadership, and intentional action can coexist with real life. Ruth believes that when people are empowered to tell their stories and lead with purpose, they don’t just create books or programs - they shape futures.
